چکیده
Abstract Background The modelling of the sheet metal forming operations requires accurate and precise data material plastic behaviour along non-proportional strain paths. However, buckling phenomenon severely limits compressive range that could be used to deform thin sheets. Objective main aim this paper was propose an effective device, enables determine stress-strain characteristics specimens subjected axial deformation without with a special emphasis on friction correction. Methods In paper, anti-buckling fixture proposed assess X10CrMoVNb9-1 (P91) power engineering steel, DP500 DP980 dual-phase steels, under compression loading. monitoring between specimen supporting blocks during test, thus stress response determined. Results effectiveness evaluated tension–compression cyclic loading tests in which high-strength sheets were successfully deformed up 10% buckling. Furthermore, successful determination force variation enabled actual acting specimen. Conclusions testing assessed as no observed. Its advantage lies adapting change its length elongation or shrinkage test. generated from movement both parts device effectively monitored by gauge system impact eliminated.

this research aims at answering the questions about translation problems and strategies applied by translators when translating cultural concepts. in order to address this issue, qualitative and quantitative study were conducted on two groups of subjects at imam reza international university of mashhad. these two groups were assigned as beginner and advanced translation students (10 students). ...
Flexural Testing of High Strength Reinforced Concrete Beams Strengthened with CFRP Sheets
The objective of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of externally bonded CFRP sheets to increase the flexural strength of reinforced high strength concrete (HSC) beams. Four-point bending flexural tests to complete failure on six concrete beams, strengthened with different layouts of CFRP sheets were conducted. Three-dimensional nonlinear finite element (FE) models were adopted by A...
متن کاملEffect of Through Stationary Edge and Center Cracks on Static Buckling Strength of Thin Plates under Uniform Axial Compression
Thin plate structures are more widely used in many engineering applications as one of the structural members. Generally, buckling strength of thin shell structures is the ultimate load carrying capacity of these structures. The presence of cracks in a thin shell structure can considerably affect its load carrying capacity. Hence, in this work, static buckling strength of a thin square plate wit...

crumple, stretch, or tear it. Sometimes the sheet can spring right back to its original form, as with a roll of paper, while other times it is permanently changed, as with torn plastic. Much can be learned from such everyday acts. The subtle mathematics of differential geometry is needed to make sense of the deformed sheets, and along the way it offers insights into issues such as the shapes of...
متن کاملSimulating Thin Sheets: Buckling, Wrinkling, Folding and Growth
Numerical simulations of thin sheets undergoing large deformations are computationally challenging. Depending on the scenario, they may spontaneously buckle, wrinkle, fold, or crumple. Nature’s thin tissues often experience significant anisotropic growth, which can act as the driving force for such instabilities. We use a recently developed finite element model to simulate the rich variety of n...
